This page slips beneath the radar. I suspect this one wil only come up when people are browsing randomly. Why bother then - well to practice frankly. Writing is something I like to do but sometimes the writer's block becomes reality. Most people are like that I suppose. Hate to be in downtime creatively like that tho'...

Music? Well at present a mix of post punk UK groups like The Associates, Fire Engines, Clock DVA, Psychic TV and 80's DANCEHALL featuring iROy and some other stuff by him and URoy...cool dub stuff.

The autobiographical aspect to all this is interesting to me. Anthologies of entries online is a concpet I have played with previously. In the case ofthe bands above they are all from that early eighties era from which I drew so much inspiration -still do in fact. It undeniably made a huge impact on my approach and consequent thinking. Ironically, I for sometime resited the whole value of it - not punk itself but more the decade immediately after it. Nostalgia...a kind of lingering romanticism following punks re-ignition of romantic thinking. Too whimsical by far in certain cultural quarters [New Romanticism itself in fact!], but none the less awkwardly appealing in 2006's war torn brutalism.
